There are a lot of moving parts to managing an ecommerce supply chain. An ecommerce store owner is expected to master everything from sourcing materials to manufacturing and procurement, to fulfillment and shipping orders to customers. There are a staggering number of details to manage, and an equal number of opportunities for things to go wrong. It’s called a supply chain for a reason; there are many links, and if any one of them breaks, the chain no longer functions.
